BPR Bank Rwanda, on February 14, hosted a thanksgiving breakfast at Kigali Convention Centre to celebrate and honor its customers. The event was meant to acknowledge the support and partnership of the bank’s valued clientele.
Speaking on behalf of the customers, Josuah TWAGIRAYEZ shed light on the significant role BPR Bank played in his life.
“This bank has been more than just a financial institution to us; it has stood by us, providing the support and resources we need to turn our aspirations into reality,” he said.
The Managing Director of BPR Bank, Patience Mutesi, expressed her appreciation to customers, emphasizing that their loyalty and support have been instrumental in the bank's success.
She remarked, “As we begin this new year, it's a moment of reflection, gratitude, and anticipation.
“Your loyalty and support have been the cornerstone of our success, and we are truly grateful for the privilege of serving you."
Mutesi hinted at the transformative journey the bank underwent in 2023, highlighting the challenges faced during the transition to a single-core banking system.

However, she proudly announced that BPR Bank now boasts consistent uptime across all its channels, thanks to the upgraded technology built helping customers achieve their financial goals while offering innovative solutions.
Acknowledging the uncertainties, Mutesi assured customers of the bank's resilience and determination to continuously strive for excellence. She emphasized that the bank has implemented the necessary measures, including robust systems, skilled personnel, and customer-centric policies, to provide enhanced banking experiences and meet evolving needs.
As the bank steps into 2024, the bank’s management pledged to be well-positioned at branches, the head office, and the call center, to provide comprehensive support to customers, and addressing any concerns that may arise. Additionally, BPR Bank is actively enhancing its digital channels to bring services closer to customers' fingertips, regardless of their location.
Referring to the theme of their new three-year strategy, "Transform Today Together," Mutesi said that the bank is committed to its continued partnership with the customers. She reiterated the bank's dedication to navigating future opportunities and challenges hand-in-hand with the clients.
She also emphasized the strong foundation of trust, mutual respect, and partnership that BPR Bank and its customers have built together.
